Litchfield Hills, Connecticut
I spent the day in the hills hiking through the damp misty forest searching for the perfect fall shot. I sat down on a log to grab a drink from by my backpack when I noticed the incredible palette on the forest floor. I had literally been walking over the shot! I focused on this particular section in which every colour peaked and a mossy green branch added a final touch. Sometimes it’s the simplest things that make the best shots. I searched the rest of the day but could not beat this image.
